“Oh no...” Fear flashed in Laura’s eyes as she began to back away. “It wasn’t me, I swear.”
Behind her Hera and Nicky hid two small glasses full of ice water which dropped to the ground as soon as Bill looked at them. She turned quickly and all three of them began to run to the house with Bill on their heels.
“Run kids!” Laura squealed as he managed to grab her around the waist and pull her close.
“You’re a mischief maker...”
“And yet you love me,” Laura grinned up at him... before he turned the hose on her.
